Impact Career Africa is an online platform that helps students, graduates and job seekers across South Africa find real, verified opportunities in one place. We publish jobs, internships, learnerships, bursaries, scholarships, fellowships and grants — and we explain every opportunity in simple, clear language.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to make opportunities accessible to every South African. Many young people miss life-changing opportunities only because the information is scattered across hundreds of company websites, government notices and PDF advertisements — or because the requirements are written in difficult language. We bring that information together, check it against the official source, and present it in a way that anyone can understand and act on.
What We Publish
- Jobs: vacancies from companies, government departments, municipalities, NGOs and state-owned entities
- Internships: internship and graduate programmes that give students and unemployed graduates workplace experience
- Learnerships: SETA-funded and company learnerships, mainly in South Africa, including programmes open to applicants with Grade 9, Grade 10 or Matric
- Bursaries: bursary schemes from companies, municipalities, government departments and educational trusts
- Scholarships: scholarships in South Africa and abroad, including fully funded programmes open to South African students
- Fellowships: fellowship programmes for graduates, researchers and young professionals
- Grants: grants and funding calls for individuals, projects and small organisations
How We Verify Opportunities
Every opportunity published on Impact Career Africa is checked against the official source before it is posted. We only use information from the official website, official careers page or official advertisement of the organisation offering the opportunity. We show the real closing date where one is given, and we remove or update opportunities after they close. Where an official advertisement does not state something — for example a stipend amount — we say so honestly instead of guessing.
Who This Website Is For
Impact Career Africa is for school leavers, TVET and university students, unemployed graduates, and working professionals anywhere in South Africa who are looking for their next step. All of our listings are South African opportunities — from national companies and government departments to municipalities and SETAs in all nine provinces — together with international scholarships and fellowships that are open to South African applicants.
We Are Not a Recruitment Agency
Impact Career Africa is an independent information platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any company, government department or organisation mentioned on this website. We do not receive applications, we do not shortlist candidates, and we cannot influence any selection decision. All applications must be submitted through the official channels given in each opportunity.
We Never Charge Any Fee
Using this website is completely free. We will never ask you to pay money, buy anything, or send your CV to us in order to apply for an opportunity. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from Impact Career Africa and asks for payment, it is a scam. Real employers also never charge a fee to apply. Please verify all details on the official website before applying.
